condy problem?

Got a condy from someone who was taking down his tank. He had it for about 4 months. It was very white w/ purple tips. Now, after I've had it for 5 weeks, it is becoming tan. It deflates about every day and exudes yucky brownish gunk. It has been in the same area every since I put it in my tank.
Water parameters good, MH lighting w/ VHO.
We feed mysis. It has been taking food.
Sound okay?

The condy shrinks and re grows all the time, to flush water out of it, thats its way of doing it... The brown stuff I think IMO is just a valve movement... and my is tan also but is looking very healthy... Mine stayed in the same place for 3 months then it decided to move the other day to my glass... I'll have a picture soon on my thread of where it moved too... I feed mine silver sides twice a week, and it catches some pelets here & their.

It was bleached, tan/pink is it's natural color. The brown stuff is waste from the food it has been eating. I have noticed that atlantic anemones seem to deflate themselves more often than nems from other portions of the world. I dont know why they do this, but unless it stays deflated for more than a day or so I wouldnt worry about it.

Also sometimes if their is not alot of flow in the tank, and stuff does fall onto their tenacles all the time, its a way of getting rid of that stuff that may fall on them... Hence why they like to stay around alot of flow... Mine moved up right near a power head almost. Going to have to watch and make sure that he doesn't get sucked in.
