Condy wont attach

Anyone have some advice on how to get a condy to attach? Had him a couple weeks, when first introduced he attached right away where i placed him...awesome. then a few days later just let go and rode the current to the bottom back corner and just stayed there open and laying on it's side. Color looks good, mouth closed and fully expanded, just laying on it's side in the back corner. what kind of flow do these like, what i have read is med flow, but where he was to start was med'ish so i am lost. tried a low flow area, high flow, top, bottom, just keeps letting go and floating away. never walks, just floats.

Help please.

IMO...if its 'healthy', it should find a spot, by itself, that it likes... Even then it may move and sting/kill any corals

totally get they move, and i expect it. problem is it just lays on it's side. still eating and expanding and color is good. hoping to hear from some owners that can offer the conditions theirs like.

I've kept condys for almost 40 yrs... IMO, stop feeding it if its in a spot that you don't want it to stay! I've had them grow to Xxl size, feeding them less than once a month! The 'tentacles' were over 12" long, they changed colors over the years and hosted various types of clowns... But when they wanted to move, they moved!
IMO, leave it alone, if it wants to survive it will.
