I did something bad and bought a condylactus anemone without doing my homework on it first. I have a 55 with 45 lbs of live rock, all softies, a few fish, a brittle star, serpent star and a BTA. I hope it was a good idea

COndys get a bad rap. I have a purple one that is beautiful. It found a comfortable spot and hasn't moved in a long time. They are fun to feed and very rarely host anything. I have 3 sexy shrimp hosting it but my clowns ignore it. Good luck with the condy

they are actually one of my fav anemones. if it decides to roam just try and keep everything else out of its way. IMO one of the easiest anemones

I'm not sure if you have enough lighting in your 55g. If your signature is correct, you only have around 2.1watt per gallon which is really low. How long has the bta been in that tank? In my opinion, the condy is swelling in size to capture as much light as it can. I had the same situation in my tank until I upgraded the lighting. I personally don't think that is enough light for either anemones.

If that's the case, then I'm assuming that the condy is just acclimating itself to your tank.

i think they are beautiful.. i had on in my nano under 36watts of pc for a month or two... only problem i had was because condys like to walk it walked in to the PH while i was sleeping... it would deflate and hunker down for the night and be open and on top of the rocks within an hour or two of the lights coming on... was always white with pink tips from the day i got him until he got chewed up...
