Confuse need more help...

Do i look for something that will not happen?

I bought this "Leather Coral" one week ago. At first it remains like a small ball, after changing him two time i found the right spot for him. It opens during the day he is straight but my impression was that this coral was to have plenty of "hair" or polyps. If i take picture and zoom the picture i can see some polyps "hair" at the end of the "tentacles" but this is not what i was looking for when i bought this coral.

This coral will stay like this forever ? I read about "siphonozooid" polyps and my feeling is that my Leather Coral will never have the "hairy" look i was looking for...

What do you think ?

Some are long and some are short. The long ones I've seen are typically pretty large.

Mine Green one looks about the same as yours.

When I first got my toadstool leather a while back it looked like a small pom pom, and I was like "I wanted one with long flowing polyps ." Then after it got well acclimated to my tank and grew larger, the polyps extended way out and it was beautiful.
