Connecting two 6040 together, got MIDI cable

Roger,
Want to run two 6040 in inverse mode. Held feed button for 5 seconds until red LED blinks on inverse pump. Doesn't seem to do anything. I have pumps on opposite sides of tank. Want to put in wave mode and them to work alternately.
Please detail sequence to accomplish. Thanks.

One controller needs to be set up in External Control mode as described on page 27, the other will be connected and you will follow the inverse set up procedure on page 33 and then follow the wavemode auto tune set up. The key is that the other unit has to be in External Control mode.

Looks good, here is a tip I recently got from the factory on getting the biggest wave, turn the pump side ways and place it low and aim the flow up.
