Connection Manager issues?

Anyone having a problem getting this to run? It was working fine then abruptly stopped. Spoke to customer support, and that seemed to be going somewhere but it's been radio silence for a few days now.

Anyone else having issues?

Thanks,
Mark

At this point the last thing I think it could be is my computer and not Ecotech. I'm just baffled by the lack of response. It started out great, I mean THEY called and emailed ME. Now it's been 3 days and I'll have to go the weekend, so 5 days. No response to phone calls, voicemails, or emails. Combined with last weekends issue where they wouldn't allow me to sign in and had to wait through the holiday weekend. So now we're talking 10 days that I haven't been able to program my lights.

They were really great and I'm really trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this is so frustrating.

Been at this for hours. Reset everything. Everything works right up to the moment you get connected, then if spits me out and says I'm "offline".

Alex, you there Buddy?

Everything was going well on Wednesday but haven't been able to connect with you. Very frustrated.

I've called, emailed, and you don't get PMs here do I have to air it all out here, much as I don't want to. But I figure can't hurt if you're not getting my messages as you had asked me to contact you.

Alex won't be here on weekends. Are you on Mac or Pc? Reeflink or just plugging in a radion directly to the pc laptop?
If you set up a reeflink, after the initial setup the connection manager will go away. But if you click on the program it will start up again. What OS are you running as well?

PC, windows 7. I know he won't be around, just putting out messages in bottles in hopes that either the VM, or emails he asked me to send, are seen. Figured it can't hurt to post here too. Seeing as no one else is having any issues, I presume it's either my computer, or my account. I think I've ruled out my computer at this point. I've gone down every one of the issues on their triage list.... Several times.

Yes, I did. I did that when we spoke last Tuesday or Wednesday.

I realize this is an open forum, so I'm not trying to rabble-rouse. I wanted to see if anyone else was having issues. Clearly they are not, or are not saying. That leads me to conclude it's my computer or my account. I believe I've ruled out my computer. If you could check my account, see if there are any glitches there???

I've sent several emails that have gone without response. I've called, as directed to do so.

When we spoke, I would hope you gleaned that I am a reasonable, non-inflammatory person? So what other method of contact, if any, would you prefer?

This thread was also requested to be closed, not by me. I have discussed this with the mods, who have reopened it.

The most help seems to be gained from calling Ecotech. Most people that can get their problems fixed that way. It seems you called, why wasn't your issue resolved? Who requested the thread be closed?

I believe I said this in another thread but I had many issues early on. I am hardwired all the time. I first log onto ecosmart live website through Google Chrome. I then launch the connection manager. It has connected me to my lights every time and stays connected for a very long time while I'm playing and tweaking the lights.
I hope it works out for you. I will say I have not tried IE but Firefox has giving me many problems so I switched to GC.

My experience was the opposite. For whatever reason, I was able to initially get in using Chrome and NOT Firefox. I got a small taste of how ESL worked and then for up to about 10 days could not for the life of me get it to work. I got so close to doing a factory reset on the computer was my last option. My lights were left in the limbo schedule which was unsightly.

Literally on my way out the door to go get my restore discs for my laptop, I tried Firefox again and it has been working just fine. I have to admit it was probably my computer, but I basically tried everything to get it to work, like it had initially. This is a clean laptop with NO other software on it other than original factory Windows 7 and Norton (which I disable to access ESL). Windows firewall is always down in lieu of Norton, so that wasn't the issue either.
