Considering TDO Chromaboost instead of BBS

This is probably one for Gresham, what should I do as far as a feeding plan for my newly hatched onyx percs through meta if I were to go to TDO directly from rotifers?

What sizes would you recommend I get (would prefer not to buy 5 different sizes unless necessary) and at what stage should I switch them? I like the idea of eliminating BBS all together if possible.

Do it! That's my plan but I'll let you try it first haha. I got a sample at rap and my fish love it.
I think people start with the smallest or second smallest one and it last forever.

Honestly, not saying this to make a sale...

I'd buy the Hobbyist Breeder Pack. You really do use all sizes. Some don't use A and crush up B1, you can always do that.

I have a feeding schedule at work, I'm heading in later today, I'll try to post it then.

I have never used bbs. Always start with rotifers. I use only 3 of the TDO. A, B2, & C2 & just over lap them. Meaning I am using 2 of them a short time in the same tank.

I am doing exactly the same thing. Though when I'm not lazy I do raise some BBS, but not because I think the babies need it.

When are you starting with tdo? Right now my little guys are 4dph, was going to order tdo tomorrow and start adding some on Wednesday to supplement rots. Or should I wait until after meta?

We've got limited shipping this week. I'd get that order in today so it can ship tomorrow.

You're plan sounds fine. IIRC (and sorry I did not post the graph yet, I didnt go into work due to sick dog) people start dusting some TDO-A around day 5. They won't eat it, but it conditions them to it.

Get at least the 16oz. FWIW you can freeze it, so if you get a 32oz, freeze half of it.

Thanks Gresham, I ordered the 32 yesterday along with the TDO. I just talked to someone over there and they said my order is shipping today. Also ordered some rotifers to help kickstart my replacement culture.

Looks like they are eating the TDO already. I started feeding yesterday and tonight when I added some I saw them darting towards the top and grabbing pieces of food!
