there are 3 guys that have collecting permits in New Caledonia (conspic valley)
two of them are active collectors
i was told that the third guy can be dead

French divers. They do not deal with hobbyists. There are very few that have access to them and hence the rarity. In addition, the logistics of collection, shipping, importing, etc
Etcake buying a one off very costly.
