constantly falling off

My vortech keeps falling apart =(

Its been staying together for a few hours at a time then taking a plunge. I've got 1/2" glass and I tried the one thicker setting, but still, it falls constantly. I cleaned the inside glass very well.

Any ideas?

Spin the prop with your finger. It should spin freely without any resistance. It should probably go around 1-2 revolutions with a simple flick of your finger. If it sticks, then soak the entire assembly in vinegar. That should fix it. This happened to one of mine and it was only 2 months old and would fall off several times a day. Gave it a soak and it hasn't fallen off since. This was about 3 weeks ago too. HTH.
