contemplating conversion from reef with fish to reef with seahorses

2 days ago I removed all the fish from the 65 gallon tank for an ich treatment. Now I'm contemplating not putting them back. I have a seahorse in my refugium (the pseudo tank raised kind from Sri Lanka) which has done really well for around a year. I decided to crank that Vortech MP10 all the way down and put the seahorse in the display. He seems pretty happy there clinging to a few of the gorgonians I have in the tank. It's been 24 hours and the corals seem to be doing fine, maybe they could use a little more flow. I have some LPS (torch, hammer, acans, favites) some SPS (digi, cap), Sinularia sp. soft coral and a couple of different varieties of gorgonians. I can place the SPS corals to be in close proximity with the MP10 but they actually seem to be doing quite well. I have a chiller and normally run the tank between 77-78 but I could crank that down a bit. I have a cone skimmer which doesn't release bubble into the display. What do you all think?
I would slowly get a few more horses and maybe some pipefish.

Why aren't you treating the seahorse for ich like the rest of the tank inhabitants and leaving the display fallow for 6 weeks?

If you decide to leave the seahorse in the display, I would remove the torch and hammer corals (can sting the seahorse and cause secondary infections), and I'd use the chiller to drop the temperature to 74*.
