Contemporary Tank

I am thinking about getting a new tank but I want something more modern/contemporary than the standard fare. Anyone have any sites/vendors offering something a little different?

Not much in the way of standard tanks. There are some smaller ones that are more sleek looking. The best way to get the look is to get a custom aquarium and cabinet, with LED pendants hung high and no visible equipment.

I need something between 50 and 100 gallons. I once saw one that had rounded corners and a silver top and bottom support that looked kinda nice. I may have to build another rimless which I would like to avoid.

The 67g is 48" and sleek looking.

The Fluval 260 is kind of interesting but it is discountinued.

i think your best bet is something rimless with an out of the ordinary stand and a small LED fixture hung from the ceiling

or instead of a cubish tank, do a peninsula style long rimless tank with 2-3 single hanging par38 led bulbs.

Very nice. I don't have the room. I currently have a rimless with Par 38 LEDs but I am going to move it to a different location and scale down the size a little. The rimless are certainly nice but if you need to put on a cover it becomes more difficult since there is no lip. I may end up building another one although I dread that job.
