Continuous Water Changes and Ph

I just put in place a continuous water change system a couple of days ago. Prior to doing this my Ph varied from 7.7 to a high of 8.5 throughout the day (falling once the lights go out). Now with the continuous water change my Ph stays steady at 7.73 to a high of 7.80. Is this normal? Is the new Ph range within acceptable limits?

Thanks,
Jim

You may need to aerate your saltwater storage container to drive off some of the CO2, your pH is on the low end of what's acceptable.

That's a very good idea, thanks. The new saltwater is in a 25g water storage container that has a lid on it. I keep it closed to eliminate evaporation. I can easily add a aeration pump to it.
