Controller question.

I am assembling my tank now. It is in the living room with a sump below the tank. My question is, would it be better to put the Controller on the outside of the stand or inside. Has anyone had trouble with the controller in the stand?

I've put my controller on the inside on 2 different tanks. Last tank I put it on the outside, didn't like the wires, this current tank, I put it on the back(since it was a few inches away from the back) and I like it so far. Just make sure there is good ventilation in the stand, or you may have rust problems.

I'm debating the same thing right now. I don't want to put it under the stand due to humidity, so I think I'll be putting it behind my stand.

Thought about the back but it will be hard to get to.
The back will be open and my plumbing is going through the stand so I was going to snug it to the wall. I guess I could leave it out an inch or two for ventilation.

I've been looking at that NeverWet paint that just became available. They use it on iPhones in their demonstrations, so I wonder if it would be safe with the Apex components.

Outside of the stand, or inside the stand in its own sealed area away from humidity and splashing. It is not always mentioned, but manufacturers do not recommend putting their electronics in the sump area.

I need some help finding my aqua controller on my ipad app. I have downloaded the app and have used the search function to find my aqua controller but it cannot find it. I've tried to match up the IP addresses on the machine and my app but no luck. Is there a function on the machine to allow it to be searchable? If there is a specific thread for my question please let me know so I can search for it and direct it there. Thank you.

I had RKL on the inside and the humidity did caused problems. I moved mine outside.
