Sorry, to break the bad news to you
I was psyched up about the 6055's but I would need four or more so that option is out for me.

You can use them on a simple wavemaker but if memory serves me they can only be run with a 15 min on/off cycle or greater in length.

That's right, you can't control the 6025 or 6045 only the 6055 can be pulsed and is a DC model. The 25&45 models are 100% AC and can start backward so it's not a good idea to run them on a switching controller. However if you have 2 of them you shouldn't need to worry about that, point them at 45 degree angles toward the front tank and they should create crazy chaotic water patterns.

Oh yeah the flow in my tank has gone off the scale now. From 2 maxijet 1200 to 2 tunze 6025's is a huge difference. Well worth the the money I spent.

I need another tunze to go with my 6055, I was thinking a 6025 and just point it at the other one, what do you think? 120 gal tank.
