controllers cheap cheap!

Sounds tempting, but it doesn't seem like the AC Jr has the ability to upload information to the web or a PC. So the only viewable information is what you can see on the LCD.

The ACJr will cover pH controlling needs, temperature controlling, and 12 device controls. Think of it as all your timers, ph controller, and heat/chiller in one package. If you want to go up to the web/computer connection you need either the AC2 with some additional or the AC3 which comes with the built in web server.

Here is a comparison page:

No outlets on the base. You have to either pick the x10 sending module and then the recieving ones or get one of the direct connect modules. If going the x10's, just get the sending unit from them and pick up the individual recievers from radio shack for about 1/2 the price.

Thanks...i've been looking around trying to find specific info on this thing. Guess I was just thinking that the base came with maybe 4 outlets or something. So, since I don't want to do the x10 stuff, I'd have to do the 8 outlet deal, plus the pH probe. Is the lab grade worth the extra $$ ?

And is this deal for like if we get 8 local people to buy into it, or is it valid if they get 8 total off of whatever websites altogether?

once they receive 8 orders they will pass along the savings like a group order/bulk order.

correct me if I am wrong :D

I've only had my unit a few weeks and I bought the standard probes. Your typical pinpoint etc. use standard probes and my pinpoint has worked very well over a year. So I went with standard. If the life ends up to short I guess I'd buy the better ones next time.

There is some kind of calibrating fluid that has to be used on the pH probe, right? If so, does it come with the probe or do you have to order it separately?
