Controlling just one 6040 nano with apex

i have a single 6040 Nano and want to be able to control it via my Apex controller as opposed to the tune controller. Does anyone know how I go about doing this?? Thanks !!

Remove the plug on top of the controller, connect the cable for your Apex control module and set the controller to External.

I assume the only cable available is the one with the Ethernet plug on one end and 2 din plugs on the other ??

That is my understanding, but I have never used an Apex and only have an understanding of the connections from forum posts and discussion with customers. We don't license, test or endorse 3rd party controllers.
