Controlling the 6105?

I have a Tunze 6105 coming and want to know if the flow will still be controllable from my Apex if I don't get the "2 Channel Apex to Stream Cable" from Neptune

So, if someone is running them with out an Apex, they can only turn them on/off, and the controllability (30-100% power) is not able to be utilized?

I would not know as I have never used an Apex, it won't harm the pump but being able to pulse and control the speed is the main reason to select the 6105.

Yes, if you go without the cable, you can plug the power supply for the 6105 into one of the outlets on the Neptune energy bar, and turn it on or off only. Not sure why you would want to do this though, the stream cable is cheap and will control either one or two 6105's, and it will allow complete control of the stream as well as feed modes.
