I am considering buying a tunze 9020 Unfortunately it is set up for in-sump use but I want to convert it to in-tank use, the problem is the guy selling it cant find the parts for in-tank use. Does anybody have advice on jerry rigging a conversion, or perhaps someone is using one in-sump and has no plans to ever use it in-tank and can sell me the parts. I have looked over the tunze website and getting all the individual parts would cost a bundle. I have a 9010 running right now on my 80 gal and want to try a 9020 on my 330 gal in tank, in an effort to go sump-free

The only parts you would need are 2 * 3130.020 and 2 * 9010.350, it should total less than $25 shipped.

Either with 2 pair of magnet holders or the 3130.250 rail set, the magnet holders were not included with it, but they make installation a lot easier.
