converting battery powered leds to ac help needed

If you say they exist. i was thinking about flashlights and have never seen a single cell LED flashlight.

I have several of them at my house with 8 LED's in them, 1 AA battery.

They do exist and they are used for various things. In this application it is not likely, but it is possible. Just better to know for sure before telling him to buy something.
