Converting my fresh to reef

I would check out melevsreef.com for sump plans. I would go with the one at the bottom of the page: http://www.melevsreef.com/acrylics/sumps/glass/ . Not sure if you want to add a skimmer at some point, but if not, you could just put the fuge in the compartment where the skimmer is.

yeah that is the same way i did mine though i didint use sand as i found it a real PITA to clean it in my first sump...i literally had to move all the cheato and rock out so i could keep the sand relatively clean..

wondering how should I baffle my 10g. I can only do it once since its small so should I do it before the return chamber or atfter drain chamber. I was thinking doing it before the return but melev is after the drain. Which would be better?
