Figure you would all like to see this picture. It's a photomicrograph of some Top Smelt eggs I'm currently incubating in the lab. Picture was taken 4 days after the eggs were collected via strip spawning. The picture was taken and labeled by our groups Post Doc.
Very similar to silverside (Menidia) eggs. Interestingly, silverside eggs are very sticky and will stick to anything. Smelt eggs stick to each other very well, but not to other objects.
