It's cheap, but it might be kind of fun to use... Saw it on www.woot.com tonight.

Runs on batteries for 1.5 hours. It can cover 4 miles of travel time, and can get to about 90' deep.

I've never used that particular one but DPV's (diver propulsion veh) are awesome fun. We had a few in the quarry one weekend and had a blast! We raced, did loops, just skimmed along a bluff wall, just played. I highly recommend them but, get trained first for proper usage, they can be dangerous due to the speed and posibility of changing depths. Have fun!
