Just thought I would share a pic I snapped tonight of my galaxea with a 4" sweeper extending out and a emerald green crab lurking in the shadows. If I would have been a few seconds faster I could have got a pic of the crab in the light, but he moved. Oh well, enjoy!
By the way, I have a crappy camera and I'm not a photographer, so please forgive the amateur skills:)

Oops, forgot the pic

My Galaxia grows really fast and it is really a pretty coral (like the ones above). If only it didn't sting! It's like Murphey's Law or something that a pretty and fast grower is a pain to have in the tank! Poor Galaxia, always in a corner by itself...

Wow, Those are some nice pictures. I could never have that in my tank. I recently watched my Grapes of Wrath, a platygyra, send out sweepers that came awfully close to my tubs stylophora, a particularly beautiful pink with jade polyps sps. I watched and watched but the sweepers were just missing...time to find a new spot in the tank with plenty of room for the platygyra :).

Nice picture and galaxea hatfielj
Bought one as one of my first corals in my old 65 and learned they will pop anything around them even when you think its far enough away....He has his own spot in a little indentation in the rock in the middle of the 90 now. Has grown to 8" x 5 " over the last yr and a half and can throw out some VERY long feeders once in awhile.

Shot of mine right after the actinics cut on this a.m with flash. Wish I had one with its sweepers out in all its glory like the pic Doni posted. Not so sure the empty snail shells in front are not some victims to it as they fall into it once in awhile
