cool yellow and pink goniopora

organism

code monkey
I got this one at a coral farmer's market about a year ago for $20, I kind of expected it to die since it was all closed up and only had like 6-8 heads, but instead it's grown like crazy and is doing really well. I've been trying to get a decent pic for a long time and finally took some time to get a good one, the blue tips on the tentacles look really cool in person but it's hard to get them on a pic, enjoy the eye candy :)

wow, thats hot. wish i could find something other than green or "blue eyed greens" <--- actually means dirty green/tealish, nothing special

I'm starting to think I'm color blind because everyone always claims something is yellow and when I look at it it looks green to me lol. I have a yellow highlighter that's green a yellow tort that's green is it me or is everyone else color blind???

Looks nice but I see green not yellow and I know I'm not color blind lol whatever color itis it looks really nice.

What lights do you keep it under and high, med, or low flow. I just bought a red with yellow centers gonipora yesterday and am trying to find the best spot for him to be happy.

Here's a better picture of the colony, the tips are without question yellow in person, probably easier to see in this one. I don't supplement or feed anything, nor do I test my levels. It's pretty high up in the tank, you can see the monti in the background growing at about the same level, flow is moderate. It's going on 2 and a half years old now and still growing :)

Here's a cell phone pic from today, my clowns started hosting it a few weeks ago. Anyone still seeing green tentacles feel free to check out the green nems in the background before going to the eye doctor :)

That's a sick goniopora!

The ones for sale here are the typical stokesi :(
What's the feeding regimen and lighting for this coral?

Ignoring it seems to work great. I've never fed it or added anything to the tank, was even fishless for a while and didn't do anything to the tank other than water changes for about 6 months. I think people get so wrapped up in this idea that they need to feed gonis that they end up messing up their water parameters and ironically killing them as a result. Seems to prefer moderate light in the bluer spectrum like 20k.
