Coolest Golby or Blenny???

engineer goby ( looks like an eel ), midas blenny ( very attractive ), panda clown goby, crested goby, and high fin red banded goby .
Not sure if this counts but blue dot jawfish are very cool aswell.

Midas blenny! They are very active and extremely curious or at least mine was...

Nice! You won't be disappointed! Now that i just checked liveaquaria...I'm going to order the african midas :lolspin:

Yes, I have an African. They swim around higher in the water column. They'll find a hole that they like in the rock and back into it and make it their home. Mine is out and about most of the time. If not, he's in his hole with his head sticking out keeping an eye on everything. Sorry I can't recommend an active bottom dweller, the only bottom fish I have is a yellow watchman goby, I wouldn't exactly call him active :).

Nice list, except the Purple Dottyback. Mine was such a PITA, killed shrimp, hermits, wounded my clowns. Made a trap out of a clear plastic bottle with fishing line and gave hime a life sentence in the sump.

watchmen goby are very active, but that could be a bad thing. If you have corals on the sand they are very good at moving them around or buring them. But your sand will always be clean since the sift thru it non stop.

Yeah, Midas is not a bottom fish, but an amazing fish nonetheless! I definitely will be getting one in my larger tank! Post lots-o-pics!

Ha! Every tank should have a Midas. Coolest reef fish ever. But, yep not really a bottom fish.

I also have a blue dart fish that I think is cool. He does hide a lot on the bottom though. Not too many all blue reef fish out there.

Yeah, I was gonna say that the Midas isn't a bottom dweller. Mine always swam up in the water column and occationally would dart to a hole in the LR, mostly near the upper portion.

Also, had a Purple Dottyback (sold to me as a Purple Pseudo) and he was the meanest fish I ever had. Even worse than my Damsels, he shreaded the tailfin of a Firefish and killed it then started chasing Blue Devil Damsels into the Rockwork, so he got pulled. Would never recommend one of them. By the list of your other fish, exception of the Midas, they probably won't take crap from the Purple.

I had a Saddle Blenny a few years ago that was always moving around the bottom. My Flame Hawk is an active bottom dweller, but shrimp might wind up in his belly.

Most of the sand shifting gobys are very active. I have a Diamond and she keeps the sand spotless.

Lawnmower and Starry blennys are also very active, out front with huge personality fish.

As a side note: Are you adding all those fish at once? If so that's a lot of bioload to add at one time

My vote is for the Barnacle Blenny. Google them. You won't see a them much but when you feed the tank they put on a quite a show for you. Depending on the tank size I would get a few. They are so neat.
