I've decided to try and breed copopods based on the information from Tigger Pods. I'd like so recommendations from those who have done this.
My equipment list includes:
- 5 gal glass tank
- Plastic top
- Air pump
- Airline tubing
- Air stone
- Air regulator
- Bottle of Tigger pods
- Plankton strainer
- Bottle of plankton
I'm going to run my salinity at 35 ppt and keep the tank next to my QT tank in my shop. This way it will get some ambient light on a regular basis. Do I need to run a heater? My shop is in my basement and the temp can drop into the 60's. What temp should I run it at? My display runs at about 82. It says to keep the water color a green tint with plankton. Any suggestions here to keep from crashing? Also do you do regular water changes in this type of tank?
Thanks,
