Copper banded butterfly in reef

depends what you have in there and what you feed, i don't see corals being messed with but someone correct me if I'm wrong?

Unpredictable. Some are reef safe, others not. Definitely not clam safe. May or may not eat aiptasia. May or may not eat at all.

Onhe issue that took me a long time to recognize is that they harrass some snails to death. I think they like to eat the antennas and the snails can't take that. Or are those the eyes (GARY! WHAT HAPPENED?)?
After my longt-term copperband died (power outage) I suddenly could keep snails alive again.

I've tried it twice unsuccessfully. They are fairly timid fish and don't compete well for food. with my purple tang, large foxface and clowns, these poor little guys essentially hid and were too afraid to eat. Ultimately, they starved despite repeated attempts at new foods or placing food in front of it. I'd be very cautious.
