Copper Long Nose Question

I was recently informed that a Copper Long Nose is reef safe... Is this true? I wanted it in my tank because I wanted it to eat all my aptasia... will it do that also?

Thank you for your input...

they are a gamble some are and some can be a giant pain. I know Gary has one in his reef and its fine. But like I have heard its a complete gamble.

Copperband Butterflyfish?

Copperband Butterflyfish?

1) do you think you can keep a CBB alive? Do you know what to look for in a specimen before you purchase it? Do your homework.
2) while doing your research on the species you'll learn that some will eat Aiptasia and some won't
3) you'll learn that some individuals might pester desirable invertebrates while others will never bother desriable invertebrates.

good luck!

Gray I know that you have had one for a long time now, what did you look for when you were purchasing yours? or what should I look for when I am looking into getting mine?

Would he eat my snails, crabs or shrimp? I have no clams anymore so I am good there.

Is there any way to make sure that he will eat my aiptasia?

Thanks
