So I've been trying to treat my fish (flameback angel & 2 clownfish) that have ich with Cupramine in a QT. I put them in the QT for a week with no meds and treated the water with Seachem's Stability to get some additional bacteria colonized before starting the copper treatment.
After a week I did a water change, dosed with Stability and waited 1 night and started dosing with Cupramine. I followed the directions on the bottle and dosed 15 drops twice with a 48 hour waiting period between doses.
After the first dose all of the fish were fine - swimming about and eating well. After the second dose they were swimming around fine, but the angel wouldn't eat food even though it was soaked in garlic.
Three days after the second dose (last night) I came home and found the angel on it's side laying with it's body contoured in an odd shape on the bottom. The angel was breathing rapidly and would swim around on it's side.
I did a 60% water change last night and did not put any more copper back in the tank. Today he is still alive but in the same shape (posting photos for your viewing).
So my question is can I save the fish? If so what is the best route?
