my tank got ich infested i want to go straight into TTM but would that stress my fish out too quickly as they already have ich? should i treat for copper for a month first to get rid of visible ich then do TTM to make sure or go straight to TTM?

Copper is way more stressful as it is a poison and immunosuppressant.

TTM, if done right and the fish are caught gentle, ideally with a glass beaker and as little chasing as possible - should not overly stress fish. If you want to reduce stress even mor you could lower the specific gravity (~salinity) of the water to about 1.016 kg/l.

so you recommend going straight into the TTM then i guess quarantine/watch my fish for 2 and half more months (3 months total) till i put them back in? ich lives up to 3 months right or is it 72 days?

How long can say 1 fish per 5 gallons live in a tank of just fresh salted water before ammonia starts? I have to keep this up for 5 fishes for 72days..
