Copperband Finally Eating

I've wanted a copperband butterfly for a while, but there were so may posts about getting them to eat, and so many other interesting creatures available, it was not high on my list.
I was out of town for an extended period and the aiptasia in my DT got out of control, so I decided it was time to try one.
This CBB ate frozen mysis at the LFS but no such luck at home in QT.
Over the last 10 days I have tried Mysis, Brine, Bloodworms , Butterfly food, rotifers, cyclops, flakes, pellets, and live clam from the grocery. Zero. The best I got was a sniff at the live clam, then he swam away.
Today it was time for the DT to get some of the scallops they love.
It turns out the CBB loves them too! He has eaten at least 8 large-pellet-size chunks in the last 30 minutes.
It's beginning to look like he may survive QT.
Never stop offering different food, you won't know until you try.
Life ( and reefing ) is good !

LFS didn't say but based on the price from LA, I would have say to Indonesia.
I'm not experienced ( or $$$ ) enough to invest in an Aussie.

cbb are one of my favorite fishes. i had two indo cbbs(not at the same time). they both ate clams chopped up and sticked to the rocks. i didn't try scallops though. after a couple of weeks in quarantine, i returned since i figured feeding them was too much work for the caretaker of my tank who was still a kid and i'm usually away from home because of the business. good luck with your cbb, and your aiptasia!
