If you are interested in running and would like more information please feel free to contact me or any of the other BOD to get the scoop. Active participation in the club is what keeps things going in a positive direction. That said if you would like to nominate someone you know or even yourself (yes that’s allowed) post up. You can also nominate anonymously, just contact one the BODs and things will be kept confidential.

Is that George geo or Jason geo? ;)

I'll say it again this year. The current CORA officers have done a stellar job directing the club in a positive direction. Without you, I seriously doubt CORA would be the great group it is. We have gone from half a dozen of us meeting at a bar to having guest speakers (Without the first names of Jack, Johnny, Jim, Jose or Bud), frag swaps, coral auctions, etc. . :D THANK YOU for a great year again this year!

I agree, Everyone has done a great job moving the club to what it is and I personally feel as a member, all the club officers demonstrate the Passion and drive that the club needs to take it to the next level. However, I do say that with caution. If you look at healthy, thriving organizations, they almost all have term limits at some point to allow and more or less force new leadership to run with the ball. We should at least try to get some of the different members to chair different committees, such as the Frag Swap, meetings and speakers, fund raisers, etc. It gets members more involved and when that happens, they take ownership in the club.

With that said,,,,, I have absolutely no desire to do anything do to my distance and time commitments.

Good Luck to all. lol

I totally agree Joe.

If it was set up where you start out on the Board as say the secretary, then the following year, move to another position, then the next and work your way up through the board until your year as the President, by the time you get to that position, hopefully, your familiar with all aspects of the club and its workings. This way as presidents change, it gives continuity to the club and allows smooth transitions.

Just a thought.

GEO FOR Governor>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> lol

Sorry it took so long to respond to the nomination. Thank you very much, I do appreciate it very much and if I do get the position I will give it my very best effort.
I love being a part of this group. Every one is always showing how they are willing to help some one else when they need the help.
