Coral banded shrimp tankmates?

I would like to get a peppermint shrimp and maybe a cleaner shrimp but I'm afraid my CBS will attack/eat them. Can I keep other shrimp with a CBS? The tank is small but in a few months everything will be going into a 190g.

Thanks

it depends on how big the CBS is. i had a small one that was very docile, and one that was about 4" that tried to eat, kill, eat, kill everything in the tank.

i've heard they also stay smaller and are more docile when you get a mated pair.

i seen a cbs and a skunk live together in a 40 tall at a store for about 1/2 a year now. no missing legs. your tank is much larger

i had a mated CB pair and one cleaner shrimp for awhile. It seems more like the CBS just pretend to attack rather then actually attack. They give chase but it's more to scare then to eat i think. They do it to everything and anything near them. Including my conch and fish -- no matter how large. They've given chase to my Naso tang before.

I had a CBS that grew twice in size in a matter of 2 months. Bought it at the same time as my peppermint shrimp. Both were about the same size initially, but the CBS was a voracious eater and was molting practically every week. After a few months, it was twice the size of the peppermint shrimp and sure enough, it ate my little mintie.

I eventually had to return the CBS to my LFS b/c I found my mandarin in his claws one morning.

This brings back memories...I lost a pair of Fire Shrimp to a CB about 7 years ago......I still want to cry over that loss...
