A week ago I noticed my coral banded shrimp had been mauled by a very small mantis shrimp in the refugium where it lived, both shrimp arms with claws were gone just socket holes, the antenna were all busted and bent, I knew if I left him in there the mantis shrimp would finish him off. I chose to put him in the 225 and he stayed high on powerheads, and out in the open on the sand, 2 days ago I could not find him so I thought the snowflake did him in, I saw him the day before which was Friday and he was on the bottom in the corner with no arms or claws. Last night I went to feed them and the coral banded shrimp had 2 new arms with claws, antenna are still rough looking but someone please explain the 30 hour regeneration process of 2 limbs, I have done salt over 22 years and never seen this.
