coral beauty wont eat (day 5)

So my coral beauty has been in the tank for 5 days and all he does is pick at the glass. he took i bite of 2 brine shrimp thats it. He wont eat pellet for, or formula 1 flake. i just put in a seaweed clip and he just swims by it and doesnt eat it. He is more intrested in picking at the glass were i didnt clean it. What else can i ty to get it to eat.

try live food, blackworms, brine, can try rubbing wet nori between your fingers in the tank to disperse that around the tank...I would def. let the algea grow on the rear glass and maybe even the sides if she is eating that...hopefully things will change...did you try mysis?

i have brine shrimp ,but their frozen so their not live. i have another package but idk if its mysis or brine. He likes to pick algea off the overflow and pretty much cleaned the whole thing. the seaweed has been in the tank for 1 hour and i cant tell if he has taken a bite of it.

~nutrafin max flakes
~formula two flakes
~new life spectrum .......

Mine adapted quickly to some cheap flake food laced with garlic, then I slowly got them to eat better food. I asked the LFS where I got my fish what food they fed and bought it, yet they still went for the cheap garlic laced flakes.

I guess, just like us, some fish prefer junk food. My flame Angel took 3 days before it ate, and is now a voracious eater. 3 scary days to be sure.

see i got them to fed it in the store and it ate. He just chunked a cube o mysis or brin in and it started picking at it

YES! YES! he just ate. i think my problem was i didnt turn down the power heads. Once it turned them off he went right at it and begun eating!
