I just bought a 5 inch coral cat shark I have it in a 125 gallon tank that gets filtered about 12 times per hour so there is alot of flow in the tank
do shraks need low flow? Because there seems to be to much in the tank qndit sits behind the rocks all day and night

Sitting / hiding in rock is what most benthic sharks will do. It's very typical behavior for them.

Coral catsharks are more nocturnal from what I have read.

You probably won't see him/her unless you're feeding him/her. Ours spends most of its time in/under the rock, and most times I have to look for her to feed her.

Ok I wanted to make sure this is normal behavor because my shark also looks skinny, and as of last night at about feeding time she came out of the rock and stayed in the less flow zones all night and when I woke up she was still out in the open so I just want to make sure this is a normal behavoir
