Coral croucher

Anyone have one? Seems like a very interesting little fish. I know they're venomous, stay small and seem peaceful/reef safe. I'd love to hear some experiences with people who have or had one. Thanks.

Caracanthus sp. are actually tiny scorpionfish, and for the most part, pretty cryptic, as they inhabit coral heads (hence the moniker "coral croucher").

We have kept C. madigascarensis, and altho cryptic, it's an entertaining little fish that took to a modified feeding stick fairly readily. Being fans of Scorpaenformes, the cryptic thing didn't really bother us.

Don't blink, or you'll miss it:

Yeah, you have some gorgeous setups and fish Greg. I'd love to get some of those type of fish but I was hoping the croucher would be a little more out and visible, don't need it to be active, just seen. Oh well.

We recently moved, and by the time we were finished moving the tanx (13 setups/600+ gals of water), I would have given them all away!
