Coral croucher

They call me EC
I have one of these really cool little fish. It has made it through quarantine, and now resided in a 40 breeder, with a pair of Picassos, in my fish room. This really isn't a display tank. It's just a grow out tank for the clowns. I'd really like to put this fish in my 200 display, but I'm a little worried. I have two large carpet anemones in the 200. This fish has the ability to hang out in different species of coral without harm. What do you think the odds of survival would be for this fish in my display? Would you risk it?

I wouldn't. #1 you'd probably never see it in a 200, they're pretty reclusive. #2 I couldn't see it living long with those carpets, being that it's a perching fish. #3 trying to feed it in that large of a tank would be a PITA I think.

I'm with the above, just don't think you'd see it in the 200. A lfs near me has two and if you didn't know they were there, you'd never see them and thats in a tank with just one piece of live rock. They are cool but i think better for the smaller tank.

Thanks for all the input.

I'm not worried about not seeing the fish very often. Right now it's in a 40 breeder with one LR, and for the past few months, I thought it had died. Then yesterday I saw it darting out from behind a pipe at feeding time. Even if I only get to see it on rare occasions, it would still make a very cool addition to the display IMHO. I doubt I'll be adding it though. I just thought about the fish being venomous. If one of my anemones did eat it, then died from the venom, I'd be sick. I guess he just gets to hang out with the clowns a little longer.
Thanks again for all the help.
