I have a 100 gallon tank that has been up and running for 9 months. All parameters are good and 10-15% weekly water changes have always been done. It is a mixed reef with SPS, LPS, clams and a few soft corals. Everything has been doing great until last night all of sudden a white patch appeared in the middle of the green star polyps. This coral has been spreading at a fast pace for several months. Does anyone have any ideas as to what this is and is there any cure? My research indicates that it may be some type of bacterial bleaching.
