Coral Dying...red slime?

Had the same prob. on my GSP. Yes the GSP will be fine. Blow it off with a turkey baster change mechanical filter media daily. Increase flow, shorten photo period and feed less. Mine all went away in a couple of weeks.

If it gets cleaned off, will it live?

Everything is normal, every parameter.
well if you find the source it might.
and we need real numbers if you dont have test dont make fake numbers we ned to know the real ones

also i wouldent blow it off with a baster i would shipon it out. if you blow it away it wil settel and grow in that spot what kind of lights do you have. but the person above is right i would do all that.

I peel that stuff off the grassy coral on my back wall every few weeks. Luckly thats the only place it grows, and only at the top. Turkey baster works well for getting it off quickly if it is killing something, but getting it out it out is recommended.
