Coral Farmers Market is coming to Arizona this November

well i was planning to attend.....but... you all know me.... its a fishing weekend. either saguaro or bartlett. overnight for shore cats and kayaking in the morning for the bass. i think this might be the first time a fishing trip saved me money but id spend way to much at the market! i expect lots of photos of your coral catches as ill share photos of anything i catch! have fun all!

Doh, I was not even thinking about the cooler. Thanks for looking out Jason.

Now I am picturing everyone walking around with coolers yet no one pulling their lunch or drinks out of them lol.

I guess it depends on how big of a cooler you're bringing. A carry along lunch box would probably be the easiest. We should have a setting area to be able to hang out in if you are lugging a big ol beach cooler around.

Everything is usually overpriced, so it's ok to negotiate.

We don't know that. Overpriced is kinda of relatively opinionated word. There will be a lot of rare corals there which might seem high priced if you do not know it's lineage or rarity. If someone is selling $50 frags of Kenya Tree then yeah that is overpriced IMO.

BOOOOO Aaron BOOOOO. LOL You can still go fishing at CFM, except their corals and in smaller easier ponds to navigate.

Just a 12 can size playmate cooler for me. I don't have the money to even fill it up most likely lol.

At least those of us who go to CFM have a better chance of not getting skunked! :fish2:

Hope you do well.

Today is the day friends! Took the day off work to relax with you fine folks and enjoy the corals while celebrating our hobby (and the new LFS that will be opening in the valley with this market!)

two of them from what I understand, Limited Edition Corals and Southwest Aquaculture.

Great Ocean Wonders will also be showing, and while they are located in the valley they don't have a retail presence so it's going to be exciting to see their pieces.

The event was awesome. I blew through my cash in about 40 minutes and had to head home but took some very nice pieces with me. When I get my tank cleaned up I'll snap some pictures.

Thanks to FRAG and all of the vendors, I hope everyone had a very successful day.

We had a great time and really enjoyed seeing all the great displays and coral. I got some great stuff to start my tank with once the cycle is finished. They will all be sitting on a rack in my wife's tank for the time being. Thank you to all the vendors and everyone who helped put the event together.

What a great event! Thanks to Jason and all the others who helped put this together!
+3

Lots of nice pieces there. I spent too much money but it was worth it.

Checked out all of them. SW also mentioned that a 3rd store was opening up near McClintock and Main. SW is in the same area as RC and Carlos giving me 3 less than 5 minutes away :).
