I wish I knew how those people that that have super dense SPS tanks do it.

I used just let them work it out. This is some of the turf wars in my old tank.
With the new tank I am going to try to keep them clipped back.

Well that's one way.

The problem I see with letting them work it out is that eventually you are going to end up with a single species in your aquarium.

I have yet to see a millepora loosing a battle... they are strong !

I find this interesting, and somewhat hopeful. I say that because I've got a monti (a pokerstar) that overruns everything it touches. It has 90% engulfed a small Stuber Staghorn, and is now starting at the base of a prized Blue Monster tort. This gives some hope that the acro will beat the monti!

Fingers crossed for having a similar experience to the OP's, as this Pokerstar monti is an unstoppable weed. Lovely weed, but a weed all the same.
