Coral Help!

I ordered some corals from LiveAquaria they arrived today and the Taylors Purple tree had broken off of the ceramic plug it was attached to.

Can I reattach this? If so what is the best way to do it?

Superglue works for most of the frags I have bought. You can also try to use an elastic. Not too tight just tigh enough to hold it to a rock until it attatches. Others stick a toothpick thru the base of the fraga nd then use string or an elastic to secure to rock. When frag attatches remove the toothpick.

if you use superglue, then make sure to use the gel form. rubber bands will work too

If that's a leather just set it on the rocks, it will attach in a day or two

Thanks for the input guys, I did a little more research and picked up some super glue gel and got it reattached. Hopefully it stays alive. Ill keep you posted.

The super glue gel works very well in water and does not hurt the coral. If you are concerned about it staying alive because it came unattached--should not be a problem at all.
