Coral ID and also question about health of coral

I picked this up about 4 1/2 months ago at LFS for $10. It was my first acro after I got my alk, ca stable enough to try one. Any how everything seems to be doing good and growing. When I bought this frag it was encrusting all around the frag plug but that was also the only place that it had the green polyps on it, no where on the body, just the encrusting part. So here it is 4 1/2 months later and the frag is now increasingly encrusting onto live rock which is good. My question is that it seems only the edge of the encrusting part seems to keep the green polyps. Its as if they fade away from where they were and only stay on the outer most edge of the encrusitng. I think this is acropora valida? Does anyone know if it looks healthy or not? Should I move it lower? I have it under ai sol led's but I have a red monti cap frag higher than this guy that's growing like crazy and even some encrusting monti thats higher and growing fast too. I have a couple of pretty bad pics but just to get an idea of what I'm talking about. One of the pics was shortly after purchase.

Wow that looks very similar except mine never had the green polyps on the body only the base. I do have it in similar conditions to yours, med-high light and med-high flow. Do you have any recent pics of yours? I'm curious to see. Thanks
