I've had my tank going for just over a year now and all of a sudden, this guy shows up. It's about the size of a nickel. I didn't really research this myself yet but I know someone will ID it right away on here. Thanks in advance.
Ya, sorry it was with my phone's camera. I'll try to take a better one. I really don't think it's bubble algae based on pictures I've seen of the stuff, but I really don't know for sure.
It's harder to describe but it's in the center of that picture. That top layer is paper thin with a purple/green color. There are a few pieces lower left of it that are starting to form but they are curled over.
