I won this at the SCRK raffle this weekend and I wanted to know if anyone knows what it is. I think it might be an emerald inferno but I'm not sure. Thanks in advance.

I know it's a chalice haha. I meant what type, I didn't find any pictures on google but I did see your post on socalireefs. It looks similar to your LE superman chalice.

def. not superman... that's a different type of chalice... um... not an oxypora or mycedium...

horrible picture, but you get the idea... but on this one, you see the little yellow dots... they turn colors like green, red, yellow, orange, purple... hence the skittles name...


looks like it... but it has to get those rainbow colored coralites...

Lol this sounds like a good plan. I guess I'll watch it and see how the colors blend and try to come up with a good name thanks for the idea. I always wanted to name my own coral lol.

well... i have mine under low metal halide light... the mother colony is placed under super powerful T5ho... i think it likes more light than other chalices... but don't try to blast it all at once... but... meh... just leave it on the sand floor or something...

yeah i had a pale colored chalice that colored up really nicely on the sandbed using a 150w mH

I put it on the sandbed right now so hopefully it gets used to the spot before the lights come on in a few hours. Also I decided what I will name it, If it colors up more bright like the green is more bright and the pinkish red is more bright...Invader Zim Chalice.
