Anyone know what the below is and a way to frag it. It's getting pretty big and I need to trim in back a bit.

i hear ya Brandon. I can't tell if it's soft or hard from pic. But looks like a chalice or some sort of monti.

It's a hard coral. Think it's a chalice of some sort. Has eyes and sweeper tentacles.

Is fragging as easy as cutting the coral without cutting any of the eyes?

I'll beat Gary M to it. Echinopora lamellosa. Frag it like a "monti cap". Just break it off.

Tyree Blue Chalice = Echinopora lamellosa

Looks almost exactly like a coral I have in my tank that I got from Josh who got it from Gary. Mine is a little more purple but I think that is more because of lighting. The lines/striations at the edge look very similar. I had mine break apart when a rock fell on it. Super glued a quarter sized piece to a frag plug and dropped it into our big tank and its the size of a saucer now. Very easy and forgiving to frag.

That was from you. It's been growing well in my tank - 3 to 4 times the size when I got it from you. Mystery solved
