I may have asked this before but can anyone tell me what this is? I bought it from Oddballs at the frag exchange and forgot what he told me! Its orange and has a weird "hair" like polyp. It kind of grows like moose antlers with out any points. Its also a very slow grower, at least in my tank. It still hasnt even encrusted the plug.

I know the pic isnt great.

Looks like Heliopora coerulea "Blue Ridge Coral" or might be Pavona

Well it looks like your tank is too clean. Lol. I think it's the heliopora I have a green one

It is the Burnt orange Psammocora Contigua,page 144 in the J.E.N. Veron Corals of the world books.It could be one of 2 other Psammocora species in the but I really doubt it because of the branch shape.It is one of my fave corals becuase it has such a odd color and shape.
