Coral ID

3 of these little corals have appeared in the tank over the past month, not sure what they are. I have recordias that have been multiplying over the past month but the colours are completely different to these. Also have a torch coral that matches the colours of these little ones. They have green stems with little purple-grey bits at the end.

Thanks for your help.

Majano anemone would be my guess as well, and yes these are considered a pest.

Btw you might want to remove those small starfish in the picture too. There's a lot of horror stories out there regarding these things and the payoff for keeping them is nothing IME.

Seriously? I've got tons of them...

Here's some of those links I was talking about.

If you want to read more you could probably just type in "Why are my Zoanthids closed" and this little starfish will pop up more times than none. Like mentioned above, there's a lot of horror stories out there.

I have since injected one with KH buffer as advised by my Fish guy. It would appear these unknowns have a skeletal structure like a torch coral (pic attached, was the best I could get sorry).

Does this mean it is not an Mojanos anemone? I'm reluctant to kill the other two if they are something good, they really are a beautiful colour.
