ok had one of my corals sps fall onto another coral and some damaged was caused does the hurt coral usually heal or ? oh one was the sunset monti and king tut plating coral both sps.

It will heal just fine. Happened to me a couple of time. New tissue will regrow in no time. If algae starts growing on the dead tissue, I would blow it off with a turkey baster. Good luck.

Well the king Tut is no more unbelievable i am really upset about this as it was one of my favorite pieces waited a long time to get it 6 months later this happens now thinking maybe I should just sell all the coral and step back for another year..

Ahh don't throw in the towel yet give yourself a few weeks before making this decision. we all lose coral and fish it is the nature of the hobby we deal with fragile life forms in an imperfect environment. we learn, adjust and move forward. sorry to hear you lost the coral. some can recover some cannot I always try to play it safe when mounting coral.
